§ Sir George YoungI understand from the Housing Corporation that architects' fees for housing association new build projects are payable in instalments on the satisfactory completion, as certified by the association, of each stage of the work. Architects submit their invoices to associations, which then apply to the Housing Corporation for the relevant loan finance. The time taken by the corporation to approve and fund each instalment is on average between 10 and 14 days.
§ Mr. Campbell-Savoursasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what was the total of housing subsidies paid by the Housing Corporation to each housing association in Cumbria for the years 1979–80, 1980–81, 1981–82, 1982–83 and 1983–84 to date;
