§ Mr. Heddleasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list in the Official Report all local authorities in England and Wales which are undertaking enveloping schemes.
§ Sir George YoungEnveloping schemes in Wales are the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales. In England the following authorities are undertaking one or more enveloping schemes for which they have sought approval to Exchequer contribution:
- Birmingham City Council
- Trafford District Council
- Leicester City Council
- Rochdale Borough Council
- Stockport Borough Council
- Wolverhampton Borough Council
- Leeds City Council
- London Borough of Lambeth
- Kingston-upon-Hull City Council
- Middlesbrough Borough Council
