HL Deb 29 February 1984 vol 448 c1358WA
Lord Boothby

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will establish an inquiry into the deterioration of conditions, and the inadequate staffing, of St. Mary Abbots Hospital, with a view to taking remedial action.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Health and Social Security (Lord Glenarthur)

We are not aware of any serious problem at this hospital which would require central investigation. The noble Lord may like to approach the chairman of the Victoria Health Authority direct about any specific difficulties.
