§ Mr. Freudasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will give details of any agreements that have been made by his Department with the National Greyhound Racing Club in respect of knacker meat.
§ Mrs. FennerThe Meat (Sterilisation and Staining) Regulations 1982 provide that knacker meat may be moved under permit to greyhound kennels licensed by the National Greyhound Racing Club. Last year officials of my Department circulated to all interested parties proposals to amend the regulations. The National Greyhound Racing Club had no comments to make on the proposals which did not affect the arrangements for their kennels to receive knacker meat. It said it was satisfied with the way these arrangements were working.
