asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will indicate what support his Department is giving for the application of advanced technology to assist disabled persons.

My Department is already supporting over 100 individual projects concerned with advanced technology for disabled people. This programme of support will continue. A list of projects has been placed in the Library.
