§ Mr. Farrasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he can now give an estimate of the cost of changing the qualifying conditions for Canadian pensions for British pensioners living in that country.
§ Dr. BoysonPersons going to Canada from the United Kingdom can qualify for a partial Canadian residence-based pension after a minimum of ten years' residence in Canada. We can give no estimate of the cost of changing this qualifying condition which is a matter entirely for the Canadian authorities.
