§ Mr. Allen McKayasked the Secretary of State for Transport what is the estimated cost of the Civil Service time required and what information he has of local government officer time required during the current financial year in order to carry out consultations between his Department and the metropolitan districts upon transport capital projects contained in the firm lists of proposed new starts in 1984–85 drawn up by the metropolitan county councils in accordance with the new procedures set out in the transport supplementary grant settlement 1984–85 circulars sent to those councils.
