§ Mr. Wainwrightasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in respect of all items of public expenditure classified as capital, he will publish annually the amounts provided for their depreciation and obsolescence.
§ Mr. Peter Rees[pursuant to his reply, 20 February 1984, c. 373]: Figures for capital consumption of fixed assets at current replacement cost by sector are published annually in "National Income and Expenditure". However, it is not possible to relate these data directly to public expenditure capital items, almost half of which relate to financial items.
