asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what recent consultations his Department has had with Hertfordshire county council regarding proposals to reorganise primary and secondary education in mid-Hertfordshire; and if he will make a statement.

There have been no recent consultations between the Department and the Hertfordshire county council on this subject.
