asked the Secretary of State for Employment what plans he has to ensure an increase in involvement between the Manpower Services Commission and local bodies.

Mr. Peter Morrison

Local bodies are already closely involved with the Manpower Services Commission, particularly through its area manpower boards which represent a wide range of interests.
