§ Mr. MellorThe number of burglaries recorded by the police in each police force area is published annually in "Criminal Statistics, England and Wales"—table 2.5 of the volume for 1982, Cmnd. 9048—a copy of which is in the Library of the House. Corresponding figures for 1983 will be published in a Home Office statistical bulletin in March 1984. The following table gives the information requested:
