§ Dr. McDonaldasked the Minister for the Civil Service if he will publish in the Official Report (a) the number of Civil Service establishments within daily travelling distance of Cheltenham and (b) the number of vacancies expected in their establishments after March for civil servants in clerical officer grades and grades below that level.
§ Mr. HayhoeOn the assumption that the daily travel to work distance from Cheltenham includes the areas of Gloucester, Tewkesbury and Thamesdown, there are 1094W Civil Service establishments—other than that of GCHQ. The future vacancy position in these establishments is not yet known for the next financial year.
