Mr. Wainwright

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is his latest estimate of the number of patients awaiting admission to the Huddersfield royal infirmary and St. Luke's hospital, Huddersfield, in each of the main specialties and the average length of time waited in each area.

The information available centrally is given in the table. The hon. Member may wish to write to the chairman of the Huddersfield district health authority who may be able to let him have information on the average lengths of time waited.
