§ Mr. HayhoeThe Civil Service Commissioners expect to be asked to recruit to about 5,000 vacancies nationally 719W at executive officer level and above during 1984. In addition, a much greater number of vacancies are expected to arise nationally which will be filled by staff on level transfer or promotion. It is not possible at this stage to say what proportion of either type of the vacancies will be in the Cheltenham travel-to-work area.
