§ Dr. BoysonBased on figures obtained from the 1982 general household survey, 7.5 per cent. of employees belonged to non-contributory schemes and 42.5 per cent. to contributory occupational pension schemes. Statistics held centrally show no schemes that are index-linked to the retail price index in both contributions and pensions.
