HC Deb 06 February 1984 vol 53 c442W
14. Mr. Cohen

asked the Secretary of State for Transport what are the number of representations he has received on the London Regional Transport Bill from (a) individuals, (b) local authorities, their associations and organisations associated with local authorities, and (c) other organisations; and how many express support for the Bill.

Mrs. Chalker

Some 300 representations, nearly all from individuals unnecessarily misled by false propaganda fed to them by the GLC. Where organisations have made constructive suggestions about details, these are being carefully considered and discussed with them.
