HC Deb 06 February 1984 vol 53 c484W
Rev. William McCrea

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many Northern Ireland Executive properties currently lack one or more of the basic amenities; and if he will give a breakdown between parliamentary constituencies.

Mr. Chris Patten

[pursuant to his reply, 24 January 1984, c. 519]: Information in the form requested is not readily available and could only be obtained at disproportionate cost. Supplementary table 13 on page 52 of the Northern Ireland House Condition Survey 1979 (final report) published by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive shows that there were 9,284 Housing Executive dwellings lacking at least one amenity.
