§ Mr. RaisonOccasional concern was expressed about certain aspects of the construction programme but the circumstances following the war were exceptionally difficult. As I saw for myself, the houses under construction are of good quality.

§ Mr. RaisonDetails of activities to be supported from the £31 million development grant have not yet been finalised. Projects already approved include farm purchase, expansion of the Falkland Islands agricultural research and development centre, school hostel facilities, the establishment of a Falkland Islands development corporation and the establishment of a wool mill and small scale factory estate. Other projects are under consideration.
