asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he has any further plans to improve the trunk road A44 between Aberystwyth and Kington during the next three years; and if he will make a statement.

Improvements at Capel Bangor and Llangurig are currently planned but their start dates depend upon the availability of resources and competing demands. The route from Rhayader to Kington is a principal road for which the Powys county council is the highway authority.
