£ 1978–79 187,000 1979–80 120,000 1980–81 55,000 1981–82 70,000 1982–83 80,000 1983–84 *90,000 * Estimated. The large decrease in the cost of the team from 1978–79 to 1980–81 was due to reduced numbers of personnel. The subsequent increase was due to the reinstatement of a Naval representative in the latter part of 1981.
