HC Deb 20 December 1984 vol 70 c325W
Mr. Terry Davis

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how often he and any other Ministers in his Department have met the executive director of the World Bank appointed by the United Kingdom to discuss the policies or reports of the World Bank.

Mr. Ian Stewart

My right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer meets with the United Kingdom executive director from time to time. In addition, there are frequent contacts between Treasury officials and the United Kingdom delegation in Washington on World Bank issues of concern to the Treasury.
