Mr. Austin Mitchell

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will give the figures for total manufactured exports to the United States of America for 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983 and the first, second and third quarters of 1984, together with the rate of increase or decrease, for the United Kingdom, West Germany, Japan, Sweden and France.

The figures, in both national currencies and United States dollars for the years 1979 to 1983 and the available information for 1984 are in the table.
