§ Mr. Ron Daviesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) on how many occasions in 1982–83 and 1983–84 the Forestry Commission issued felling licences, which permitted felling of broadleaved woods, without there being conditions attached for the replanting solely of braodleaved trees; and how many hectares of woodland this totalled in each year;
(2) on how many occasions in 1982–83 and 1983–84 the Forestry Commission issued felling licences which permitted the clear-felling of broadleaved woodlands for conversion to agricultural land; and how many hectares of woodland this totalled in each case.
