asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will provide the latest available data as to the number of petrol-driven three-wheelers for the disabled licensed for road use, and the number of those in reserve stock.

On 1 December 1984 the United Kingdom Health Departments' fleet of petrol-driven invalid three-wheelers consisted of 7,454 licensed vehicles on issue to disabled people, 1,426 licensed vehicles in reserve, and 2,013 unlicensed vehicles in store. The Departments also have some invalid three-wheelers powered by electricity. Two hundred and thiry five are on issue, 40 are in reserve, and 301 are in store.
