§ Mr. Parryasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if any police disciplinary action has been taken against any officers who took part in the Royal Ulster Constabulary Land Rover patrol in the vicinity of Linden street, Belfast, on 9 July 1981.
§ Mr. Hurd[pursuant to his reply, 7 December 1984, c. 298]: Following consideration of the incident by the Royal Ulster Constabulary's complaints and discipline branch the deputy chief constable decided that disciplinary charges should not be brought against any of the police officers involved. A report was made to the independent Police Complaints Board which concurred with his decision.
