§ Mr. Leightonasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will list the companies or persons investigated under sections 68 to 70 of the Companies Act 22W 1980 indicating those cases which were referred for prosecution; and if he will arrange for copies of all the investigations to be placed in the Library.
§ Mr. FletcherDealings in the shares of 73 companies have led to such investigations being undertaken or considered. Each investigation typically involves many individuals. Neither they nor the company are named unless criminal proceedings are instituted. Particulars of the cases brought are as follows:
