asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many trained nurses from the Republic of Ireland are presently employed in Northern Ireland hospitals.

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many student nurses have just completed their training at the Royal Victoria hospital; and how many will be offered positions as nurses in that hospital.

41 student nurses will complete their training on 21 December 1984 and none has been offered a post at the hospital to date.

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many student nurses have recently completed their training at Ards hospital; and how many nursing posts at this hospital will be available to them.

13 nurses recently completed their training, four have taken up permanent nurse posts and three have obtained temporary nurse posts in the hospital.
