§ Mr. RaisonMy right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State announced during the debate on overseas aid on 22 November that the Government had decided to submit notice of withdrawal which, unless rescinded, would take effect on 31 December 1985. We shall reconsider our position towards the end of next year in the light of the progress made towards reform.
