§ Mr. RentonNone. We have no consular standing to intervene on behalf of Dr. Arif, who is a Pakistani26W national. However, we have recently taken steps to make known to the Pakistani authorities the concern felt in this country about certain aspects of the application of martial law in Pakistan.
