§ Mr.Rookerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish a table showing the pound sterling equivalent levels of earnings at which (a) income tax alone and (b) income tax plus employees' social security contributions absorb 10 per cent., 15 per cent., 20 per cent., 25 per cent., 30 per cent., 35 per cent., 40 per cent. and 50 per cent. of earnings for all European Economic Community countries, the United States of America and Japan.
