§ Mr. Spellerasked the Secretary of State for Transport how many railway stations or sections of railway lines previously closed have been reopened since the passing of the Transport Act 1962 (Amendment) Act 1981.
§ Mr. David MitchellI understand from the Railways Board that three stations and one passenger service have already been re-opened on an experimental basis under the 1981 Act. From 14 May, one further station will be reopened under the same Act.
