§ Mr.Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Defence what provision was made for aborted take-offs and landings at Port Stanley airport when the length of the runway was set at 8,500 ft.
§ Mr.LeeThe runway at Port Stanley is 6,100 ft. long. That at Mount Pleasant will have additional clearway including paved stopway to meet all the anticipated requirements for the safe operation of military and civil aircraft.
