What official steps have been taken to learn about the Minnesota method for treatment of drug addiction, in use at the Hazelden Clinic, Centre City, Minnesota, USA, and its possible benefits for the United Kingdom.

Information about the Minnesota method has been studied, but the department is not aware of any scientific evidence that it is more effective than other approaches used in the treatment of drug addiction.
