§ Mr. WhitneyThe Foreign and Commonwealth Office will encourage competition wherever possible by promoting, in the relevant international organisations and in bilateral diplomatic relations, policies which will enable British companies to compete more effectively and profitably worldwide through unhindered trade in goods and services.
