§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will endorse the current Council of Europe resolution on the activities of drugs companies in respect of the Third world; and if he will make a statement on the delivery of the rational health declaration.
§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe Council of Europe recommendation 969 (1983) has been referred to two of the Council's committees for an opinion and the Council of Ministers will consider it further when it has received those opinions.
I am making arrangements to receive the rational health declaration from some of its authors in the near future.
