§ Mr. WaldegraveNo. It is part of the task of my Department, advised by the Radioactive Waste Management Advisory Committee, to ensure that appropriate consideration is given to alternative methods of waste management, and that adequate research and development are carried out. Already it employs a wide range of research contractors.
