asked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will list those United Kingdom energy investment projects to date which have received European Economic Community support under the various categories of European Economic Community schemes to promote energy conservation, innovation demonstration, research and development, and other energy investment, specifying for each project the amount of support, total project cost and the target of energy saving.

To date, 47 United Kingdom based energy conservation projects have been approved under the European Economic Community's Demonstration Projects scheme. The total cost of these projects is 70 million European Units of Account (MECU) of which 20 MECU has been contributed by the Community. 68 United Kingdom based energy conservation projects have also been approved under the Community's Research and Development scheme. The Community has contributed 7.3 MECU towards these projects at the rate of 50 per cent. funding. Details of target

may be performed privately, no preference is given to private patients in the allocation of organs. It would be contrary to Government policy for organs to be supplied on commercial terms, but we have no evidence that this is happening and therefore we see no need for legislation.
