Mr. FrankField asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will detail the percentage fall in the tax threshold to a (i) single taxpayer, (ii) married couple, (iii) married couple with two and four children on (a) two thirds average earnings, (b) average earnings, (c) twice average earnings and (d) five times average earnings for the periods 1953–54 and 1983–84.
