257W3. From 1983–84 onwards separate expenditure details are no longer relevant to the special Programmes headings. The former Youth Opportunities Programme has, along with certain other training schemes, been replaced by the new Youth Training Scheme and brought under the control of the unified MSC Training Division.
4. The figures relate only to expenditure under the MSC's grant in aid. They do not cover programmes operated by the MSC on an agency basis for the Secretary of State for Employment.
