asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list all the measures introduced or improved since 1979 to assist the unemployed or provide training especially for the young.

  • Part Time Job Release Scheme
  • Job Splitting Scheme
  • Technical and Vocational Education Initiative
  • Temporary Short-Time Working Compensation Scheme
  • Voluntary Projects Programme
  • Young Workers Scheme
  • Youth Opportunities Programme
  • Youth Training Scheme
