§ Mr. Kirkwoodasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will publish in full the evidence and conclusions of the two recently announced reviews on social security and child support and publish the results of the survey of the circumstances and needs of the disabled.
§ Dr. BoysonThe two social security policy reviews announced on 2 April, at column 660, are just beginning their work. Both reviews will be seeking public evidence, but it is too early to determine exactly how the work of the reviews can best be taken forward. The Government will, however, publish their conclusions in due course.
The survey into the circumstances and needs of the disabled is a research project. Again, it is not possible to anticipate the outcome, though we would expect findings to be made available in the usual way when the survey has been completed.
