HC Deb 04 April 1984 vol 57 c576W
Mr. Proctor

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the current state of relations between the United Kingdom and the Republic of South Africa.

Mr. Rifkind

I refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave him on 1 December. We attach importance to our relations with South Africa and to maintaining a dialogue on all matters of interest, even in those cases where our views may differ.
