asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if the figures in the reply to the hon. Member for Dundee, West on 21 February, Official Report, column 508, on school meals uptake include those taking snack meals.

The census from which the figures given in my reply of 21 February were taken included all school meals supplied to pupils.
