asked the Secretary of State for Transport when the work of consultants is likely to commence to examine possible improvements to the A38 between Debwalls and the Bodmin bypass; and if he will make a statement.

asked the Secretary of State for Transport when he hopes to be able to announce the result of the recent Saltash bypass inquiry for the Tamar bridge to Latchbrook section of the A38.

Subject to receiving the inspector's report shortly, I hope to be able to announce a decision later in the year.
