§ The Prime MinisterIn his statement to the House on 25 October on the report of the NHS management inquiry (the Griffiths report) my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Social Services said that he would be setting up within his Department the Health Services Supervisory 255W Board which, as the report recommended, he would chair. A full-time NHS management board will be established, responsible to the supervisory board and chaired by a person of suitable experience and expertise.
