§ Sir Keith JosephAction following a report on a maintained school by Her Majesty's inspectors is, in the first instance, a matter for the local education authority and governing body concerned. The procedures I have introduced for the publication of such reports include arrangements for systematic follow-up by the Department of each report so that I am informed of actions taken and proposed.
