§ Mr. Peter MorrisonAt the end of October 1983, 1,054 places of the target of 1,525 filled places for Leicestershire and Rutland had been filled. A further 300 places had been approved on projects where the job opportunities are, as yet, unfilled. Support available under 263W the community programme is allocated to areas in terms of filled places and not by cash limits. Information is not available about the number of vacancies currently on offer, but they are advertised in jobcentres and in most cases are quickly filled.
