§ Mr. PattieThe Ministry of Defence currently has a total of 2,880 United Kingdom-based civil servants serving abroad as at 1 January 1983. This figure includes 1,409 teachers who are employed in service schools worldwide. A breakdown of these figures by location is as follows. A disproportionate amount of time and effort would be involved in providing details of the precise locations of these staff within each country concerned.
