§ 38. Mr. Spearingasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will give an estimate of the shortfall of funds for agricultural support within the European Community for 1983, excluding and including supplementary budget allocations.
§ Mr. JoplingThe European Commission has taken various measures in order to keep spending in the EAGGF guarantee section in 1983 within the budget provision of 15,848 million ecu. This includes 1,761 million ecu which were added in the supplementary and amending budget562W No. 2 to reflect changed market conditions and the price-fixing decisions reached in May 1983 by the Council of Ministers.
