§ Mr. Hayesasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when he expects to make a statement on the recommendations relating to higher education from the National Advisory Board, and, in particular, the recommendations relating to east Anglia.
§ Mr. BrookeMy right hon. Friend will be receiving recommendations from the National Advisory Body on the provison of local authority higher education in 1984–85 in east Anglia and elsewhere, and on the associated allocation of resources, in a few weeks' time. He will announce his decisions in the light of these recommendations as soon as possible thereafter.
